Reporting directly to the Quality Manager of Solina Belgium, you will operate in the following fields:
You will be responsible for food security and hygiene throughout the entire operation.
You ensure the development and improvement of standards and health conditions will be introduced,
coordinated and updated.
You will give internal training to all staff especially for quality and hygiene, as well as training on standards.
As a HACCP team responsible, you ensure coordination , testing, updating and documentation of the HACCP
plan and the hygiene plan
You will be responsible for compliance with and updating of BRC , IFS , FSC22000 certifications or other
certification systems (MSC).
You will handle complaints, their validation and corrective measures. Inform customers in case of questions.
You will provide information in relation with the preparation of the Management Review.
You will follow up of the Food law legislation.
Profile / Competences
– Bachelor degree (Food technology, Dietetics) experience in QA by preference in the food service industry is
– Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on, action oriented and flexible approach, strong analytical skills and excellent
– Knowledge and experience of FSCC22000, HACCP, BRC, IFS.
– Fluent Dutch, French and English is essential.

The purpose of the Process Improvement Engineer is to continuously optimize the performance of the refining, with noticeable impact in the mid and long term. Advanced troubleshooting is necessary to ensure the better and quicker solution with low total cost of ownership. The Process Improvement Engineer is responsible for preparing projects that provide significant opportunity to stabilize critical assets and processes and expand the continuous improvement process competencies within the site. The Process Improvement Engineer will act as a Continuous Improvement lead, developing a Continuous Improvement plan based on value mapping for the site.
Lead, prepare and/or execute Continuous Improvement activities, projects and initiatives within the plant.
Daily reporting in accordance with existing communication structures and a monthly summary report.
Preparation of larger projects into smaller ready-to-execute parts. The execution will be done by technical project team, but timeline and budget are followed until finalization. The Process Improvement Engineer is the project user for process related issues till, after start-up phase, the project is handed over to the production supervisor.
Sustainable implementation of new projects and initiatives by adequate documenting and training sessions.
Prioritization by value mapping of total (project) portfolio of ideas and requests.
Covering the total plant portfolio on projects and initiatives
Bachelor’s degree required (technical)
Min 2 years of production or processing experience.
Experience in training others on continuous improvement tools and processes
Able to identify resources and establish a plan to execute complex tasks
Leadership, communication, teamwork and interpersonal effectiveness,
Time management, structured work approach and process discipline.
Strong analytical skills and value and cost consciousness
Managing complex projects in a cross-cultural environment is desirable
Able to present complicated matter in a clear written way and verbally
